So, You've Broken it?
Repairs are carried out in our fully equipped workshop to the highest standard.
From a minor repair to a complete rebuild or restoration, all work can be undertaken.
Please give us a call or send an email to discuss your requirements.
An hourly rate is not charged, but each job is priced fairly on the amount of work and any parts required.
Basically, a fair job for a fair price. I'll never be a millionaire!.
Visitors to the workshop are by appointment only.
Trade repairs are welcome.
If your amp needs repair, all I ask is that you can bring and leave it with me so I can estimate the cost of putting it right.
This service is free, but we do prefer to see the patient in question first so as to be able to provide the most accurate price.
Sometimes it's not possible to give a fixed costing without a certain amount of repair work first as some faults can mask others.
I will always ring and speak to you before carrying out any work.
Amps are always queued in order of items received, but we will endeavour to do the 'I need it for a gig tomorrow' repairs with priority. I don't charge a premium for doing this.
Please note I don't have facilities for 'While you wait' repairs.
All repairs are carried out using the correct replacement parts, if available, and not bodged with whatever happens to be to hand.
In the case of vintage equipment where new original equipment parts are no longer available, good quality generic replacements are used.
A large stock of general spares are kept along with the most commonly used manufacturer specific parts to enable the quickest turnaround possible.
We have accounts with all the mainstream manufacturers for purchase of genuine spares.
